Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 in 1970) is an American former football tight end. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. One of America's top tight ends, he has the NFL record for most receiving yards of every tight end. Gonzalez is also ranked third all-time in the number of receptions.
A former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez was a guest as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's hour-long NFL pregame broadcast prior to FOX NFL the SUNRISE), which is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez's claim to be retiring in the NFL at the end of 2013 is not the case. The 15th of March, 2013 Gonzalez signed with Falcons an agreement for two years worth 14 million dollars. Following the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the leader of the NFL's active players in yards receptive.
